Self-Serving Rick Scott Votes Against U.S. National Security Interests, Democracy

In The Last Week, Scott Has Opposed Bipartisan Border Security Legislation And Essential Aid For Israel And Ukraine

Miami, FL – Today, Rick Scott voted against a bipartisan foreign aid bill that would provide essential aid to Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan in the fight to curb the interests of Putin and China. In response, Debbie Mucarsel-Powell released the following statement.

“Time and time again, Rick Scott has proven he is a threat to our national security and our country,” said Debbie Mucarsel-Powell. “This morning, he voted against aiding our Democratic allies in Israel and Ukraine to further the interests of Putin and China. Last week, he voted against a bipartisan deal to address the crisis at our border. Rick Scott is a failure and a fraud who will further our adversaries’ interests if it means scoring cheap political points.”
